Cross country day!!!
Ready steady GO!!! Racing around people falling and getting back up racing again. My legs getting sore and grazing my knees over and over. Smelling the dirt on the ground hearing my heart beating fast.

There once was a whaea ika who had Tokowhitu tamariki . One day in the awa o te waikato , the little ika wanted to takaro in the awa. But the whaea ika ka whakatupato ia ratou not to go out of there whare current or they will be diner for a kairanga ika. The pepe ika did not listen to their whaea so they did it .   As they were playing takaro they got caught by the kairanga ika net they were struggling to get out. Tawhiri matea  heard their cries and throw one by one of them to into the night sky. The mother of the tokowhitu lost ika got mad at what they had done.
